Hello everyone

We have some very exciting events happening this week in the Academy:

Tuesday 22nd - Class Oxford to take part in a Shakespeare cast workshop at the Civic - 1-5

Wednesday 23rd - Some of the year 3 and 4 pupils are going to cheer on Manchester United

Wednesday 23rd - Individual and family photos (families with children not currently in the Academy that would like a family photograph, please arrive at 8.30am at the main reception).

Thursday 24th- Children across the Academy will be baking to prepare lots of tasty goodies for our Macmillan coffee afternoon.

Friday 25th - All parents are invited to take part in our Macmillan Coffee afternoon, please come along and support this great cause. It starts at 1.30 (please arrive through main reception) and finishes at 3.00pm (you can take your children early). There will be lots of stalls manned by the children selling lots of tasty goodies and drinks that you can share with the staff and children in the Academy. All the children are really looking forward to this event. If you would like to donate any baking towards this event then please feel free to do so.

Harvest Festival -Don't forget that each class is having a competition to see who can collect the most produce - the class that collects the most will win a prize. The Harvest will take place at Royston Church this year and you are more than welcome to join in the festival. You would need to make your own way there and your children would still need collecting from the school at the end of the day. All classes except Foundation stage 1 (butterflies) will be taking part due to the 1:1 supervision needed for trips
